Chamber of Commerce - Interview with Sandra Richards

A Chamber of Commerce Member, Towers Business Development Pty Ltd, has completed a very interesting assignment relative to the preparation of a Business Plan, Budgets, Cashflow Forecasts, Projected Balance Sheets and Mentoring on the operations of Section 708 of the Corporations Act Capital Raising and Crowd Sourced Funding Equity Raising for a new North Queensland company known as QPlas Pty Ltd.

QPlas Pty Ltd intends to process thousands of tonnes of waste agricultural plastic sourced from farmers in the Lower Burdekin, Gumlu and Bowen, thus saving some of this plastic ending up on the Great Barrier Reef and to combine the recycled agricultural plastic with timber residue from African Mahogany trees privately grown in North Queensland by growers who are members of the African Mahogany Processors Cooperative Ltd.

QPlas Pty Ltd is presenting a series of Information Sessions next week:

  • Townsville – Wednesday 29 January 9:30am for 10am at Townsville RSL
  • Lower Burdekin – Thursday 30 January 9:30am for 10am at Ayr RSL
  • Bowen – Saturday 1 February 10am for 10.30am at 304 Richmond Road, Bowen

In this video (Click here) Peter Towers, Managing Director of Towers Business Development Pty Ltd discusses the concept of combining recycled agricultural plastics with hardwood waste from trees grown in North Queensland with Sandra Richards the Chairperson of QPlas Pty Ltd.
